I am certified with another organization. Can I continue my training with FII?

You most likely can, and we will gladly help you with that. Please understand that the training and educational curricula are not uniform across all agencies. Even though some training organizations may call their courses Level 1, 2, and 3, just like FII does, it does not mean that the content of these courses and training methodology are the same. It is as if all agencies are trying to climb the same mountain but each are taking different routes.

To ensure you continue on your journey without missing any part of it or unnecessarily repeating the same training twice, your FII instructor will test your knowledge through a quick dive evaluation to see if the FII course you want to take is the best next step for you (e.g., a student intending to enroll in FII Level 2 will be evaluated on FII Level 1 proficiency, and proof of certification with another recognized freediving agency for a similar depth is required).
