How long do I have to complete my course?

There are many variables that can affect the outcome of a freediving course and many of them are out of student's or instructor's control. If you have not yet completed all the required parts of your course to receive a certification, you have twelve months to complete the parts of your course that you have not finished without needing to repeat the entire course.

Simply use the FII Course/Instructor Locator to find a new course that would suit your time and place, contact the course instructor, and request a course completion. Most instructors are happy to accommodate course completions on a space-available basis (expenses such as boat fees and facility fees may be applicable). Most students, however, prefer to finish their courses with the original instructor.
